Two Way Street!

Chocolate + Love Movies + Tears + Junk Food + Broken Heart = Break ups

I have had plenty of breaks ups and broken hearts throughout the four years of high school. At a young age of 14 I walked into this high school ready to become independent and more mature. From that young stage of 14 through the older mature stage of 18 I still haven’t found out the secret of long lasting relationships. The book, Two Way Street, explains how Courtney and Jordan are totally in love then a tragic break up.  The book delivers a great message; there are two sides to every breakup. One person is not the fault of a break up even though it seems that way. Turns out, Jordan has a secret or two that he's not telling Courtney. And it has everything to do with why they broke up, why they can't get back together, and how, in spite of it all, this couple is destined for each other. Jordan doesn’t want to lose Courtney so finally tells her the secret about their parents. Courtney is extremely upset with her father and Jordan from keeping this away from her. Courtney starts taking out her anger on Jordan when this secret is also affecting his life in the same way. The book shows us that communicating with your significant other and being honest with them is the best policy. Understand both sides of the story and have trust in your partner!

The Best Advice for Relationships:

Communication-Always communicate thoroughly with your partner! Communicating a lot will help you understand each other’s feelings.

Trust-Always trust your partner! You have no reason not to trust them unless they have done something that is untrustworthy.

Respect-Treat your partner with the highest respects! Treat them how you want to be treated and respect their values and beliefs.

Honesty-Be honest with your partner they need to know the truth! Honesty is ALWAYS the best policy!

Love-Love your partner unconditionally! Remember to show your love to each other once in a while! (;

MEN- Do not leave the toilet seat in the up position!
