Dear Abby,

I need help with a boyfriend problem that I have encountered. I have been dating this guy named Jordan for almost a year and everything was going great until I told him that I loved him and all he said was thank you! What was I suppose to do? I thought he loved me but I guess not. Now that I told him how I felt, it is awkward between us and he tries to avoid me! I feel bad for telling him that but I just was caught up in the moment and my feelings were there! Do you think that he loves me or wants to break up with me?

There are many possibilities for your situation and I am not sure how he is feeling! I think the best solution is to sit down and talk about your feelings with him! He could have been shocked that you said that or maybe he feels the same way but can’t express it. The other possibility is that he doesn’t want to settle down or he is being pressured by someone to break up with you! There are endless situations that could happen but I think that you need to have a one on one conversation and discuss where you guys want this relationship to go!
